Cullen Gillaspia: Cut with failed physical tag

Gillaspia (back) was waived with a failed physical designation Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Gillaspia missed the final seven games of the 2020 season due to a back injury. The fullback out of Texas A&M logged just seven offensive snaps over seven NFL games last year, catching his lone target for a gain of six yards. He'll focus on getting healthy before signing with a new team.
