The Dolphins activated Jones (knee) from injured reserve Saturday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
Jones was placed on IR on Aug. 30 after suffering an MCL sprain during the preseason. He started seven games at right guard last season and could reclaim that role from Robert Hunt if Jones, who is listed as questionable, suits up Sunday against the Panthers.
