While Smith remained sidelined from on-field work, he was spotted working on a JUGS machine during the open portion of Wednesday's session, per Olivia Reiner of The Philadelphia Inquirer. Smith has missed the last two games due to a hamstring issue and may be trending toward a third absence if he isn't able to get back on the practice field by Friday.
