  • Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Ruled out for Week 4

Smith (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Rams.

Smith gutted through a hamstring injury during the Eagles' Week 3 loss at Chicago, playing all 50 offensive snaps en route to six catches (on eight targets) for 65 yards. After Smith failed to practice Wednesday and Thursday, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reported that he was in danger of sitting out Week 4, which now has been confirmed. In Smith's absence, Dontayvion Wicks and Makai Lemon will be the primary wide receivers at the disposal of QB Jalen Hurts.

  • Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Remains out of practice Friday

Smith (hamstring) remained sidelined for Friday's practice, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.

Smith is fully expected to miss Sunday's game against the Rams, as he's been idle for practice all week. His absence will open up a ton of opportunities for Dontayvion Wicks and Makai Lemon in the passing game, making both worthwhile WR3 plays in fantasy.

  • Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Unlikely to play in Week 4

Smith (hamstring) isn't expected to be available Sunday versus the Rams, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.

For a second straight week, Smith is dealing with a hamstring injury, but he was able to play through it during Monday's loss at Chicago, logging all 50 offensive snaps en route to six catches (on eight targets) for 65 yards. He hasn't practiced so far this week, and McManus' report indicates Smith likely will remain out Friday before the team eventually makes a ruling on his status for Week 4. If Smith doesn't suit up this weekend, Dontayvion Wicks and Makai Lemon would be the primary beneficiaries in the receiving corps.

  • Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Does not practice Thursday

Smith (hamstring) is not practicing Thursday, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

This marks the second straight day of missed practice for Smith, who is dealing with a hamstring injury. Smith's status looks to be in question heading into Sunday's crucial showdown with the Rams. He missed some practice time last week and was still able to play, but this is the second straight DNP for Smith.

  • Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Listed as DNP on Wednesday

Smith missed Wednesday's walkthrough due to a hamstring injury.

Smith also kicked off last week with a DNP on the Eagles' first practice report due to a hamstring issue, only to progress to full and no designation ahead of Monday's road matchup with the Bears. In the end, though, his status bears watching in the coming days to ensure he's also good to go for Sunday's contest against the Rams.

  • Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Paces pass catchers in Week 3 loss

Smith secured six of eight targets for 65 yards in the Eagles' 27-7 loss to the Bears on Monday night.

Smith led the Eagles across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets on a night when Jalen Hurts passed for just 153 yards. All three of the speedy wideout's totals also qualified as his second highest of the first three games of the season. Smith appears to be adjusting well to new coordinator Sean Mannion's offense despite the Eagles' collective performance on that side of the ball leaving plenty to be desired, and he'll take a robust 19-235-1 line on 27 targets into a Week 4 home showdown against the Rams on Sunday.

  • Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Good to go against Chicago

Smith (hamstring) does not carry an injury designation into Monday's game against the Bears.

Smith was working through a hamstring injury through Week 3 prep but ended with a full practice Saturday, which was enough for him to be cleared to play Monday. He has a 13-170-1 receiving line on 19 targets through the first two games of the regular season as the Eagles' top pass catcher, and he could see even more targets from Jalen Hurts due to the absence of top tight end Dallas Goedert (knee).

  • Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Practicing again Saturday

Smith (hamstring) is participating in Saturday's practice, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Smith has been working through a hamstring injury, which prevented him from practicing Thursday before he returned for Friday's session in a limited capacity. His status for Monday night's game against the Bears will be more clear once the Eagles announce their injury designations following Saturday's practice. Smith is coming off a 10-117-1 receiving line (on 13 targets) against the Titans in Week 2, and if were to be ruled out or limited against Chicago, then Dontayvion Wicks, Makai Lemon and Darius Cooper would all be in line for more targets from Jalen Hurts.

  • Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Limited at Friday's practice

Smith (hamstring) practiced in a limited capacity Friday.

After sitting out Thursday's practice due to a hamstring issue, Smith returned to the field one day later and logged some individual drills before running on a side field, per Brooks Kubena of The Athletic. Smith thus still has some work to do to prove his health ahead of Monday's game at Chicago, and Saturday's injury report will reveal whether or not he has a designation for Week 3 action.

  • Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Getting in some work Friday

Smith (hamstring) wasn't in uniform at the start of Friday's practice but eventually took part in individual drills before running on a side field, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.

After sitting out Thursday's practice due to a hamstring injury, Smith's ability to get in some work Friday generally is a good sign as the Eagles prepare for a Week 3 visit to Chicago. At the very least, he appears as if he'll be listed as a limited participant on Philadelphia's second practice report of the week, and he'll have another chance to mix in at Saturday's session before the team potentially tags him with a designation ahead of Monday's contest.

  • Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Dealing with hamstring injury

Smith didn't practice Thursday due to a hamstring injury.

Smith was spotted in sweats and not pads like most of his teammates during the media-access portion of Thursday's session, and now the reason for his lack of activity has become known. His status will be watched closely Friday and Saturday to get a sense of his odds to play Monday at Chicago.

  • Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Big day in Week 2 win

Smith caught 10 of 13 targets for 117 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-20 win over the Titans.

The veteran wideout saw more than twice as many targets as any other Eagle, with Smith's biggest reception coming just before halftime on a 22-yard TD toss from Jalen Hurts. Smith is looking the part of Philly's new WR1 following the offseason departure of A.J. Brown, compiling a 13-170-1 line on 19 targets through two games. He'll look to build on those numbers in a Week 3 road trip to Chicago.

  • Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Held to three catches in season opener

Smith caught three of six targets for 53 yards in a 24-22 Week 1 victory against the Commanders on Sunday.

Smith made a big 31-yard catch on a beautiful third-down throw from Jalen Hurts late in the third quarter to help set up a Philadelphia field goal. Beyond that reception, the veteran wideout was mostly held in check, and he finished behind both tight end Dallas Goedert (77 yards) and fellow WR Dontayvion Wicks (73 yards) for the team lead in receiving yardage. Smith enters 2026 as the Eagles' top wideout following the offseason departure of A.J. Brown (ankle), but that may not necessarily lead to a heavy increase in production, as Philadelphia has a variety of offensive weapons and Hurts could look to spread the ball around more -- in fact, his 14 completions Sunday went to six different pass catchers, none of whom had more than four receptions. Smith and the Eagles will be heavily favored in a Week 2 tilt against Tennessee next Sunday.
