Eagan was promoted Tuesday from the Bills' practice squad to the 53-man roster, ESPN's Mike Rodak reports.
Devastated by injuries in the wideout corps, Buffalo needs some depth ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Patriots. Eagan won't necessarily have a role or be active on gameday, but he's at least around as an emergency option. The team still hopes Robert Woods (foot) and Marquise Goodwin (concussion) will be available.
