The Titans informed Jones on Wednesday that he will be released, Jeff Howe of The Athletic reports.
Tennessee plans to tag Jones with a post-June 1 designation. In his lone season with the Titans, the 33-year-old caught 31 passes (on 48 targets) for 434 yards and a touchdown in 10 games. Per John Glennon of SI.com, the move frees up $9.5 million in salary-cap space for Tennessee.
