Patrick Taylor: Waived by Green Bay

The Packers waived Taylor on Tuesday.

After not suiting up for the season opener, Taylor appeared in seven straight games but played primarily on special teams. Him being cut suggests Kylin Hill will be activated from IR ahead of Week 9 to operate as the No. 3 running back behind Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. If Taylor clears waivers, Green Bay will likely re-sign him to a practice-squad deal.
