Rams' Ernest Jones: Chance to return Sunday

Jones (ankle) has a chance to return for Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the 49ers, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

Jones sustained a high-ankle sprain in late December and hasn't returned to game action since then despite being designated to return from injured reserve last week. Even if the 22-year-old is available against San Francisco on Sunday, defensive coordinator Raheem Morris said Thursday that the team will likely monitor Jones' workload during the NFC Championship Game.
