  • Jashaun Corbin: Comes off injured list

The Patriots activated Corbin (undisclosed) from the practice squad injured list Thursday.

Corbin was placed on the inured list late October and he's now healthy. The depth running back hasn't yet suited up for a game with New England this season, but he made six regular-season appearances with the Giants in 2024, mostly contributing on special teams.

  • Craig Reynolds: Placed on injured list

The Patriots placed Reynolds (undisclosed) on the practice squad injured list Wednesday.

Reynolds will have to miss at least New England's next three games while working his way back to full health, so his next chance to be elevated from the practice squad and contribute won't arrive until the playoffs. He hasn't yet suited up for a game with the Patriots since having joined the team's practice squad in November.

  • Jaret Patterson: Resurfaces on practice squad

The Chargers signed Patterson to the practice squad Wednesday, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.

Los Angeles waived Patterson on Monday after activating running backs Omarion Hampton and Hassan Haskins from IR, but he now re-signs with the team as an emergency depth option. Unless the Chargers suffer further injuries in the backfield down the stretch, however, it's unlikely that Patterson will be called upon as a gameday contributor again.

  • Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Logs limited practice Wednesday

Mitchell (knee) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice.

Mitchell got encouraging MRI results Tuesday after exiting Baltimore's Week 14 loss to the Steelers due to a knee injury. If Mitchell is able to play Sunday against the Bengals, he'll likely work in a change-of-pace role behind Derrick Henry, as the Ravens remain without Justice Hill (neck), who isn't eligible to return from injured reserve prior to Week 17.

  • Devin Neal RB | NO

Saints' Devin Neal: Tending to abdominal issue

Neal was limited at Wednesday's practice due to an abdominal injury.

Neal has filled in for Alvin Kamara the last two games as the latter tends to a sprained MCL, with the former tallying 153 yards from scrimmage and one rushing TD on 37 touches. While Kamara remained sidelined at practice to kick off Week 15 prep, Neal is dealing with a health concern of his own, which leaves Evan Hull and Audric Estime as the currently healthy RBs on the Saints' active roster.

  • Alvin Kamara RB | NO

Saints' Alvin Kamara: Still not practicing

Kamara (knee/ankle) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.

Kamara has yet to practice since he suffered a sprained MCL in Week 12 against the Falcons, leaving his status cloudy ahead of Sunday's game against the Panthers. Meanwhile, fellow RB Devin Neal (abdomen) was limited to begin Week 15 prep, which means Evan Hull and Audric Estime currently are the healthy backfield options on the Saints' active roster.

  • Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: DNP due to groin issue

Rodriguez didn't practice Wednesday due to a groin injury.

Over the last five games, Rodriguez has taken on the largest workload in the Commanders backfield, logging 55 touches (for 259 total yards and three TDs) to Jacory Croskey-Merritt's 45 and Jeremy McNichols' 22. With a health concern now in tow, though, Rodriguez's status will need to be monitored as the week goes on to get a sense of his odds to play Sunday at the Giants.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Full practice Wednesday

Tracy (hip) practiced fully Wednesday, Matt Citak of the Giants' official site reports.

Tracy took a big hit in the Giants' last game Dec. 1 and couldn't put much weight on his left leg as he left the field. Afterward, he called the injury a hip contusion/stinger, but with the benefit of the team's Week 14 bye, he was able to put the health concern behind him. Tracy thus is poised to split the backfield with Devin Singletary yet again Sunday against the Commanders.

  • Patriots' Terrell Jennings: Not practicing Wednesday

Jennings (concussion) wasn't spotted at Wednesday's practice, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Jennings thus has two more opportunities to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Bills. If he ends up sidelined this weekend, D'Ernest Johnson and Craig Reynolds would be candidates to be elevated from the Patriots' practice squad to work behind Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson in Week 15.

  • Jakob Johnson RB | HOU

Jakob Johnson: Back with Texans on practice squad

Johnson signed with Houston's practice squad Wednesday.

Johnson had been on Houston's active roster prior to being waived Monday. After going unclaimed on waivers, the fullback is back in the organization. The Texans could opt to elevate Johnson on game days, leaving his role functionally the same as it was when he was on the active roster.
