Howden missed Wednesday's game versus the Predators because he was placed on the NHL's COVID-19 protocols list, David Schoen of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Howden has missed consecutive games, but this is the first time he's been listed in the virus protocols. At this point, he'll likely be out 10 days before he can clear clear the protocols. He was also designated for non-roster injured reserve.
