Whitecloud (lower body) is nearing a return and could play Thursday against Detroit, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.
Whitecloud hasn't been in the lineup since Oct. 22, missing the last 12 games with a lower-body issue. His return would be a welcome sight for Vegas as Shea Theodore (undisclosed) may not be available Thursday. If Whitecloud isn't able to suit up, his next chance to play would be Saturday against Columbus.
