Panthers' Aaron Ekblad: Should be ready for training camp

Ekblad (leg) is slated to be healthy for the beginning of training camp in the fall, David Dwork of Local 10 Miami reports.

Ekblad underwent surgery back in March but is on track to be fully fit for the 2021-22 campaign. Over the course of his seven-year NHL career, the 25-year-old defenseman has reached the 10-goal mark in all but one of his campaigns, including the shortened 2020-21 season. With a full 82-game campaign, Ekblad should be capable of pushing for the 40-point threshold and offering top-half fantasy value.
