  • Canucks' Thatcher Demko: First win since return

Demko stopped 25 of 26 shots on goal and tallied an assist in Sunday's 2-1 win over New Jersey.

Demko allowed just one goal in the second period en route to one of his strongest performances of the season. With the win, he now has a 6-5-0 record with a 2.67 GAA and a .903 save percentage through 12 appearances this season. His win Sunday was his first since returning to Vancouver's lineup from a lower-body injury. The 30-year-old netminder has dealt with multiple lower-body injuries over the last two seasons, as he's appeared in just 35 games since the start of last year's campaign. When he is healthy, however, Demko looks poised for a bounce-back season after posting a sub-.900 save percentage for the first time in his career a season ago. His next chance to guard the crease is Tuesday against the Rangers.

  • Alex Lyon G | BUF

Sabres' Alex Lyon: Picks up win Sunday

Lyon stopped 23 of 24 shots in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Kraken.

Lyon picked up his third straight win, and he's allowed just six goals on 78 shots in that span. It looks like Lyon is gaining some momentum for the Sabres, though he'll still need to compete with Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen for playing time. On the year, Lyon is 6-6-3 with a 2.99 GAA and a .905 save percentage over 17 appearances. If he continues to see most of the starts, he could be a decent depth goalie for fantasy as long as the results go his way. The Sabres' next game is at home Thursday versus the Flyers.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Falls to Sabres

Daccord stopped 20 of 22 shots in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Sabres.

Daccord put in a decent effort, but the Kraken's offense was once again lacking in giving him support. This was his fifth regulation loss in the last six outings. Until the results get better, Daccord could find himself ceding time to Philipp Grubauer. Daccord is at an 8-8-4 record with a 2.89 GAA and an .893 save percentage over 20 starts this season. Whichever goalie starts Tuesday is a clear fade, as the Kraken will be hosting the league-leading Avalanche.

  • Oilers' Calvin Pickard: Yields four goals in loss

Pickard allowed four goals on 27 shots in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Canadiens.

Pickard hadn't played in the last four games, but he got the nod for the second half of a back-to-back after Tristan Jarry guided the Oilers to a win Saturday over the Maple Leafs. With Jarry now in town after Edmonton acquired him for Stuart Skinner and Brett Kulak, Pickard's outlook for playing time remains pretty sparse. On the year, Pickard is 3-4-2 with a 4.06 GAA and an .851 save percentage through 11 outings, and he's unlikely to play more than a typical backup would unless Jarry gets hurt or sustains a lengthy slump.

  • Jakub Dobes G | MON

Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Sharp in Sunday's win

Dobes stopped 27 of 28 shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Oilers.

Dobes had lost his previous two starts before watching two straight games as Jacob Fowler got his first taste of NHL action. The pressure of competition may help Dobes steady his play, especially since Fowler is viewed as the Canadiens' long-term future in goal, something Dobes will want to delay for as long as possible. The 24-year-old Dobes is 11-5-2 with a 3.03 GAA and an .892 save percentage over 18 games. In addition to Fowler, the veteran Sam Montembeault remains in the mix for starts, which could lead to a crowded crease in Montreal for the foreseeable future.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Yields six goals in loss

Swayman stopped 25 of 31 shots in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Wild.

Swayman had one of his worst games of the season as the Wild stormed to the win in Quinn Hughes' Minnesota debut. The 27-year-old Swayman has gone 5-3-0 over his last eight games, allowing two or fewer goals in six of those outings. He dropped to 13-8-0 with a 2.83 GAA and a .908 save percentage over 21 starts this season. The Bruins are back at home for Tuesday's game versus the Mammoth.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Cruises to win

Gustavsson stopped 29 of 31 shots in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Bruins.

The Wild had the first five goals in this game, making it fairly easy work for Gustavsson to pick up his third straight win. He has allowed two or fewer goals in seven of his last nine games to maintain his share of the crease in a split with Jesper Wallstedt. Gustavsson is up to 10-8-3 with a 2.61 GAA and a .908 save percentage through 21 starts this season. If the Wild continue to alternate goalies, Wallstedt would play at home versus the Capitals on Tuesday while Gustavsson would get a road assignment Thursday versus the Blue Jackets.

  • Alex Lyon G | BUF

Sabres' Alex Lyon: Between pipes in Seattle

Lyon will patrol the road blue paint Sunday in Seattle, according to Joe Pohoryles of Emerald City Spectrum.

Lyon is coming off back-to-back victories in Edmonton and Vancouver following a seven-game winless stretch. The 33-year-old has a 2.96 GAA and a .911 save percentage during his modest two-game winning streak. This could be a favorable matchup for Lyon, as the Kraken have dropped seven of their last eight matchups and have generated just 2.52 goals per game this season, which is the second-worst mark in the NHL.

  • Jakub Dobes G | MON

Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Set to start Sunday

Dobes will defend the home crease Sunday against the Oilers, per Eric Engels of Sportsnet.

Dobes has lost his last two outings, conceding a total of seven goals on 32 shots in losses to St. Louis and Tampa Bay. The 24-year-old is 10-5-2 with a 3.15 GAA and an .887 save percentage through 17 appearances this season. With Jacob Fowler now up with the big club and drawing starts, Dobes will need to clean up his game in short order to avoid losing out on playing time.

  • Wild's Samuel Hlavaj: Earns shutout Sunday

Hlavaj recorded a 28-save shutout in AHL Iowa's 6-0 win over Manitoba on Sunday.

Hlavaj picked up his first shutout of the season and the second of his career. He is now 4-5-1 with a 3.21 GAA and an .884 save percentage over 10 appearances. Hlavaj is battling with Cal Petersen for starts with Iowa, though neither will be able to rely on performance alone to get to the NHL, where the Wild boast a strong goaltending duo in Filip Gustavsson and Jesper Wallstedt.
