  • Nick Suzuki C | MON

Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Helps out twice Saturday

Suzuki distributed two assists in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Rangers.

Suzuki gave out the primary helper on the team's opening goal by Zachary Bolduc before chipping in on Josh Anderson's tally in the second period. The 26-year-old Suzuki is up to 28 assists, 36 points, 66 shots on goal, 25 hits and 25 points through 31 games this season. Not only does he rank in the league's top 20 in points, but he also has solid category coverage to bolster his fantasy profile. He's on pace for another 70-plus point season, which would be his third straight year hitting that mark.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Facing Bruins

Gustavsson will protect the home net against Boston on Sunday, Jessi Pierce of NHL.com reports.

Gustavsson will get the second half of Minnesota's back-to-back after Jesper Wallstedt played in Saturday's 3-2 win over Ottawa. The 27-year-old Gustavsson has a 9-8-3 record with a 2.64 GAA and a .907 save percentage through 20 appearances this season. Boston ranks seventh in the league with 3.28 goals per game this campaign.

  • Josh Anderson RW | MON

Canadiens' Josh Anderson: Finds twine in loss

Anderson scored a goal and blocked a shot in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Rangers.

Anderson tallied Montreal's lone goal of the second period to give his team a 4-2 lead. With the twine finder, he is up to six goals, nine points, 37 shots on net, 56 hits and 26 blocks through 31 games this season. Anderson has been one of the team's most successful offensive options in the bottom six despite ending a nine-game point drought Saturday. He has solid category coverage but lacks the high-end offensive stats needed to succeed in fantasy.

  • Lane Hutson D | MON

Canadiens' Lane Hutson: Distributes two helpers Saturday

Hutson recorded two assists and served two PIM in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Rangers.

Hutson slid the primary helpers on goals by Jake Evans in the opening period and Josh Anderson in the second. With the pair of apples, Hutson has 21 assists on the season, along with 26 points, 53 shots on goal and 49 blocks through 31 games. He is currently tied for eighth in assists among NHL defensemen and is third among all of Montreal's skaters, trailing Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield. Hutson hasn't lost a step as one of the league's most exciting young blueliners, giving him high-level value in all point-based fantasy formats moving forward.

  • Jake Evans C | MON

Canadiens' Jake Evans: Lights lamp in loss

Evans scored a goal, put two shots on net, served two PIM and dished out three hits in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Rangers.

Evans gave the Canadiens a 3-0 lead in the first period, but the Rangers promptly surged back with two goals of their own prior to the first intermission. The 29-year-old winger is up to five goals, nine points, 34 shots on net, 42 hits and 23 blocks through 30 games this season. He is currently centering the third line and has continued to provide all-around stat coverage. There are likely better options for higher-end scoring in fantasy, but Evans should continue to be a steady source of category coverage when he's in the lineup.

  • Arber Xhekaj D | MON

Canadiens' Arber Xhekaj: Nets first goal this season

Xhekaj scored a goal and had three hits during Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Rangers.

Xhekaj found the back of the net for Montreal's second goal of the opening period. His twine finder Saturday was his first of the season, to go with 60 hits and 22 blocks through 28 games. The 24-year-old blueliner was due for a point, as he hadn't found the scoresheet since Montreal's second game of the season. He was a healthy scratch twice in the past few weeks, making his goal a reason to keep him in the lineup moving forward. Outside of deep leagues that value banger stats, Xhekaj remains off the fantasy radar.

  • Zack Bolduc C | MON

Canadiens' Zachary Bolduc: Scores opening goal Saturday

Bolduc tallied a goal, had four shots on net, blocked two shots and put out three hits in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Rangers.

Bolduc opened the scoring in Saturday's contest near the 13-minute mark in the first period. The 22-year-old forward is up to seven goals, 14 points, 46 shots on net and 52 hits through 31 games this season. He has struggled to score consistently, with his goal Saturday being the first since he scored in back-to-back contests Nov. 26 and Nov. 28. Despite his role on Montreal's top line, Bolduc's value in fantasy is best served for deep leagues until he can produce points consistently.

  • Rangers' Matthew Robertson: First career multi-point game

Robertson had two assists, three shots on goal and two hits in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Canadiens.

Robertson had the primary helper on both goals scored by New York in the second period, which were just 36 seconds apart. His first career multi-point effort brings Robertson's season totals up to four assists, five points, 36 hits and 35 blocks through 24 games. The 24-year-old rookie has four of his five points this season over the last nine games and has remained a steady source of hits and blocks all year. While he's not quite yet at the level to make an impact in most fantasy formats, Robertson could become a streaming option in deep leagues if his current run of offensive contributions keeps up.

  • Artemi Panarin LW | NYR

Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Pots penalty shot in win

Panarin scored a goal and fired eight shots on net in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Canadiens.

After a sluggish start to the season offensively, Panarin has surged to get back to a point-per-game pace for the fifth consecutive regular season. Since Nov. 7, he has 26 points across 19 games.

  • Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Tending twine Sunday
