  • Ian Moore D | ANA

Ducks' Ian Moore: Picks up assist Tuesday

Moore notched an assist, three blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets.

Moore had steady playing time in early November, but this was just his fifth appearance in the Ducks' last 13 games. He's earned two assists over that span, but it appears he's battling with Drew Helleson and Pavel Mintyukov for third-pairing minutes. Moore has contributed five points, 18 shots on net, 37 blocks, 12 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 20 appearances, which is decent production despite his limited role.

  • Maple Leafs' Oliver Ekman-Larsson: Goals in back-to-back games

Ekman-Larsson scored a goal Tuesday in a 3-2 win over Chicago.

He has a goal in each of his last two games (four shots). Ekman-Larsson has already put up 22 points, including six goals, in 32 contests in 2025-26. He delivered 29 (four goals, 25 assists) in 77 games during the 2024-25 regular season.

  • Maple Leafs' Dakota Joshua: Goal in each of last two games

Joshua scored a goal Tuesday in a 3-2 win over the Blackhawks.

Joshua's goal capped a Leafs comeback -- he scored eight seconds after Auston Matthews tied the game late in the third frame. Joshua lifted the defender's stick, grabbed the rebound and lifted it over Spencer Knight's glove from the slot. The 29-year-old missed Saturday's game due to illness, but he has a goal in each of his last two games. He also has four PIM and 10 hits in that span.

  • Maple Leafs' William Nylander: Dry December may be improving

Nylander had two assists in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Chicago.

Nylander has had a bit of dry December. He has no goals and four assists, courtesy of two, two-point outings, and 10 shots in seven games this month. Even with this slow stretch, Nylander continues to lead the Leafs with 11 goals and 36 points in 28 games. He'll heat up again soon -- those two multi-point games have come in his last three contests.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: First multi-pointer in seven games

Matthews had a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Chicago.

Matthews tied the game 2-2 with a power-play snipe at 16:51 of the third period. He picked up the puck behind the net and wheeled out, ripping a shot over Spencer Knight's glove from the below the right hashmarks. It was Matthews first multi-point game in seven games. Overall, he has 14 goals, nine assists and 102 shots in 27 games this season.

  • Wild's Matt Kiersted: First point with new club

Kiersted logged a shorthanded assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Capitals.

Kiersted first point with the Wild came on a Matt Boldy tally in the third period. The 27-year-old Kiersted is filling in as a depth defenseman while the Wild are missing a handful of regulars on the blue line. With no one expected to return Thursday versus the Blue Jackets, per Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News, Kiersted figures to remain in the lineup for at least one more contest. Over two appearances this season, he's racked up four shots on net and a blocked shot.

  • Matt Boldy LW | MIN

Wild's Matt Boldy: Keeps rolling with shorthanded goal

Boldy scored a shorthanded goal on two shots and added two blocked shots in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Capitals.

Boldy has scored in four of the last six games, and he has four goals and five helpers in that span. This was his second shorthanded tally of the season -- a larger penalty-kill role has been a new responsibility for the winger this year. He's up to 19 goals, 38 points, 111 shots on net, 25 hits, 26 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a plus-11 rating through 34 appearances.

  • Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Fluke goal forces overtime

LaCombe scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Penguins.

LaCombe tied it 3-3 with 3:16 left in the third frame with a shot from below the goal line that went off the mask of Jet Greaves and ultimately forced overtime. LaCombe has a goal in each of his last two games. The left-shot defenseman's ice time is climbing -- he recorded a whopping 31:23 in Tuesday's loss. He has six goals, 14 assists and 77 shots in 34 contests this season.

  • Wild's Kirill Kaprizov: Sets franchise record

Kaprizov scored a power-play goal on four shots in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Capitals.

The goal was Kaprizov's 70th career power-play tally, setting a franchise record for the Wild by breaking a tie with Zach Parise. This was Kaprizov's first goal on the power play since Nov. 26. The 28-year-old superstar is up to 21 goals, 38 points, 113 shots on net and a plus-1 rating over 34 contests this season. Kaprizov's quiet stretch in early December has taken him off a 100-point pace for the year, but he's still among the most productive forwards in the league.

  • Danila Yurov RW | MIN

Wild's Danila Yurov: Collects three points

Yurov scored a goal, logged two assists, added two PIM and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Capitals.

Yurov set up two goals for Vladimir Tarasenko before the veteran returned the favor once on the rookie's third-period tally. This was Yurov's first career three-point effort, and he snapped an eight-game goal drought. For the season, the 21-year-old has four goals, 11 points, 32 shots on net, 19 blocked shots, 17 hits and a minus-1 rating over 27 appearances. Yurov has a little more room to grow as a top-six forward after the Wild sent Marco Rossi to the Canucks in the Quinn Hughes trade.
