High school softball rankings: Florida's Lake Brantley one of five new teams in MaxPreps Top 25

Sunshine State clubs shake things up as Parish County also enters the mix.

Florida high school softball is shaking up the MaxPreps Top 25 rankings.

Lake Brantley (Altamonte Springs, Fla.), which was on the outside looking in last week, moved into the top 10 this week after back-to-back wins over Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, Fla.). The Mustangs dropped 18 spots to No. 21 and you have to go back to 2015 to see the last time they lost consecutive games.
