Andre Ethier has good workout Thursday

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly indicated that outfielder Andre Ethier's Thursday workout went well enough that he may be inserted into the starting lineup for Game 1 of the National League Championship Series Friday, the Orange County Register reports.

Ethier was limited to pinch-hitting duties in each of the team's four games in the previous round and was removed for a pinch runner the one time he reached base. He's been recovering from an ankle injury.
