Padres third baseman Chase Headley hit his sixth home run in Tuesday's victory over Atlanta.

Headley finished 1 for 3 with the solo shot and a walk. He was just 18 for 112 (.161/.282/.232) over his previous 30 games, and he was held out of the lineup Sunday in an effort to rejuvenate his bat. He went 0 for 4 Monday, but Tuesday's performance was the game the Padres have been looking for over the last month. He's hitting .226/.333/.368 overall.
