Nationals pitcher Gio Gonzalez didn't record a decision in his return from the disabled list Wednesday after giving up four earned runs on five hits and three walks in five innings and striking out six in his team's 6-5 win over the Astros.
Gonzalez gave up 12 runs in 7 1/3 innings in his two starts before going on the disabled list with shoulder soreness a month ago, but he fared better Wednesday, though he was still in line for a loss before the offense rescued him late in the game. He owns a 4.85 ERA and 59:23 K:BB ratio in 55 2/3 innings. Gonzalez is on track to face the Brewers Monday.
