Mets outfielder Juan Lagares was removed from Monday's game against the Diamondbacks with a pulled hamstring, the team announced.

Lagares singled late in the game but had to be removed for a pinch runner after suffering the injury. He finished the game 1 for 4. Lagares is .314/.345/.471 with one home run and seven RBI in 51 at-bats. With Curtis Granderson also injured in the game, the team is suddenly shorthanded on outfielders. Lucas Duda moved to left field from first base Monday after the injury.
