Report: Jose Iglesias in danger of missing at least first half of season

ESPN reports on Saturday that Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias could out at least until the all-star break, and possibly the entire season.

Iglesias is dealing with significant injuries to both shins, which has kept him sidelined for the last two weeks. He was already expected to start the season on the disabled list before Saturday's report surfaced. General manager Dave Dombrowski refused to comment on the situation, MLive.com.

"At this point, we are not prepared to answer this question," Dombrowski said.
