When it's all said and done, Alex Rodriguez is going to be remembered for his off-the-field weirdness more than his on-the-field greatness. Perhaps the weirdest of the off-the-field weird occurred late in 2009, when a jilted ex-girlfriend told US Weekly the Yankees third baseman had paintings of himself as a centaur hanging over his bed. "You know, the half-man, half-horse figure?" she articulated.

This one is right in The Bobblehead Project wheelhouse, so I present to you A-Rod the Centaur. Or, alternatively, Centaur-Rod.

"Just think of all the steroids horses get to use!" says the author in a cheap shot.

"At least the centaur still has two good hips!" says the author in a second cheap shot.

In all seriousness, getting a half-man, half-horse painting of yourself might actually be pretty badass if done properly. I have no idea how to do it properly, but, hey, there's potential. It's certainly unique, I'll give A-Rod that. Rodriguez denies the whole thing, of course. Can't say I blame him.
