Yankees rookie second baseman Robert Refsnyder didn't wait long before hitting his first career home run.
During his second major-league game on Sunday, against the rival Red Sox no less, Refsnyder slammed a two-run home run to left field.
"I'd be lying to say when you're in the box and a couple at-bats go by, some thoughts like that creep in your mind. You're only human," Refsnyder said, per MLB.com. "The first one that landed, I told [John Ryan Murphy], 'I don't think I've ever been so happy to see green grass in my life.' Definitely, the first one kind of settled me down."
Refsnyder finished the game 2 for 4 with two RBI.
