Diamondbacks' Alberto Rosario: Signs with Diamondbacks
Rosario signed a minor-league contract with the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.
Rosario spent the 2019 season with Triple-A Reno, and he'll return to the organization as part of the 60-man roster for the 2020 season. He'll report to the team's alternate training site and should serve as organizational depth this year. The 33-year-old hit .250 with 11 RBI and 27 RBI over 42 games in the minors last season.

Diamondbacks' Alberto Rosario: Agrees to terms with Arizona
Rosario signed a minor-league contract with the Diamondbacks, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.
Rosario played in 50 games for Triple-A Memphis in the Cardinals' system in 2017, but also appeared in 23 games for the big-league club during the past two seasons. The soon-to-be 31-year-old hasn't been able to find any success during his brief opportunities in the majors, but he will provide organizational depth for the Diamondbacks heading into 2018. Last season at Triple-A, he slashed .247/.291/.279 with 23 RBI and six extra-base hits.

Cardinals' Alberto Rosario: Outrighted from 40-man
Rosario cleared waivers and was outrighted off the Cardinals' 40-man roster Monday, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.
The 30-year-old has appeared in just 23 games for the Cardinals over the past two seasons, hitting .171/.209/.429 in 44 plate appearances. With Yadier Molina and top-prospect Carson Kelly ahead of him on the depth chart, Rosario's path to the big leagues with St. Louis is very murky.

Cardinals' Alberto Rosario: Called up Friday
Rosario was recalled to the majors prior to Friday's game against the Giants, MLB.com's Jenifer Langosch reports.
Rosario hasn't played any games at the big-league level this season, following 20 appearances with the Cardinals in 2016. During 50 games with Triple-A Memphis this year, he's slashed .247/.291/.279 with 23 RBI. Rosario will provide depth at the catcher's position behind Yadier Molina and Carson Kelly.
