  • Dodgers' Kyle Tucker: Logs first steal

Tucker went 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 5-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

Tucker has settled into the No. 2 spot in the lineup, nestled between Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts. With at least 25 steals in three of the last four regular seasons and no fewer than 22 homers in any of the last five years, Tucker should bring balanced production in his first campaign with the Dodgers. He's 2-for-7 with two walks and two RBI through two games so far, and he should be a big source of counting stats in one of the most potent offenses in the majors.

  • Dodgers' Kyle Tucker: Checks back into spring lineup

Tucker (personal) will serve as the Dodgers' designated hitter and No. 2 batter in Sunday's Cactus League game against the Athletics.

As expected, Tucker has rejoined the Dodgers after he was away from camp the past five days to observe the birth of his first child. The Dodgers will ease Tucker back into the mix by deploying him at DH, but he'll likely return to his usual spot in right field for his next spring start.

  • Dodgers' Kyle Tucker: Expected back Sunday

Tucker (personal) is expected to rejoin the team Sunday and serve as the Dodgers' designated hitter against the Athletics, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Tucker has been away from spring camp since Tuesday to spend time with his wife and newborn child. Before leaving, the 29-year-old outfielder had gone 1-for-7 with four walks and three runs scored in four Cactus League contests.

  • Dodgers' Kyle Tucker: Leaves camp to join expecting wife

Tucker has left Dodgers camp in order to be with his wife, who is expecting a child, Jack Harris of the California Post reports.

Tucker will get a few days away from the club in order to tend to more important matters. It will not affect his preparation for Opening Day. Tucker is 1-for-7 with a 4:1 BB:K in his first four Cactus League games this spring.
