Sittinger signed a minor-league contract with Atlanta on Sunday.
Sittinger made 36 relief appearances in the minors during the 2021 campaign and posted a 4.12 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in 39.1 innings. He also made his major-league debut by making five appearances with the Diamondbacks. Chances are, Sittinger will be up and down throughout 2022 while serving as organizational depth.

Diamondbacks' Brandyn Sittinger: Takes loss in short outing
Sittinger (0-1) was tagged with the loss Sunday against the Astros after allowing three runs on three hits -- including two home runs -- and a walk across two-thirds of an inning.
Sittinger had given up just one run over his first four appearances of the season, but the wheels came off in this one and was tagged with his first loss of the campaign. The fact that he has already allowed three homers in just 4.2 innings in relief is a bit concerning as well.

Sittinger made his MLB debut after his contract was selected from Triple-A Reno on Tuesday. He entered a clean seventh inning with Arizona trailing 5-3.
