Orioles' Noah Denoyer: Looks healthy for camp
Denoyer (elbow) reported to Baltimore's big-league camp and will be an available option out of the bullpen for Sunday's Grapefruit League game against the Twins, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
The Orioles have another split-squad contest against the Phillies on Sunday, so Denoyer was summoned from minor-league camp to provide insurance out of the bullpen for the home game against the Twins. Though Denoyer is not scheduled to pitch Sunday, the fact that he's joining the big club for the day is an indication that he's healthy again after missing the entire 2024 season due to Tommy John surgery. Denoyer is expected to open the upcoming campaign at Triple-A Norfolk.

Denoyer underwent Tommy John surgery this week, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Denoyer will be sidelined for the next year or more and seems likely to miss the entire 2024 season. The 25-year-old right-hander struggled to a 5.61 ERA, 1.71 WHIP and 63:38 K:BB in 51.1 innings this summer with Triple-A Norfolk.

Orioles' Noah Denoyer: Clears waivers
Denoyer cleared waivers Tuesday and was sent outright to Triple-A Norfolk, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
Denoyer was cast off the Orioles' 40-man roster last week and will officially remain within the organization. The 25-year-old righty posted an impressive 2.61 ERA and 0.80 WHIP at Double-A Bowie last season but has yet to carry that success into the Triple-A. level as evidenced by his 5.04 ERA and 1.76 WHIP through 30.1 innings in 2023.

Orioles' Noah Denoyer: Dropped from 40-man roster
Denoyer was designated for assignment by the Orioles on Tuesday.
Denoyer will now either remain with Triple-A Norfolk, get claimed off of waivers by another team or be released outright, the first of which seems most likely. The right-hander has produced a 5.04 ERA and 1.76 WHIP with 34 strikeouts over 30.1 innings in 14 appearances, including four starts, with Norfolk this season. In a corresponding move, Mark Kolozsvary had his contract selected from Triple-A on Tuesday and will replace Denoyer on the 40-man roster.

Orioles' Noah Denoyer: Optioned to minor-league camp
Denoyer was optioned to minor-league camp Friday by the Orioles, Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Denoyer appeared in 21 games in the minors last year, tossing 71.2 innings across three levels with a 2.89 ERA and 99:17 K:BB, and he was protected by the Orioles from the Rule 5 draft this offseason by being added to the 40-man roster. The right-hander could make his big-league debut in 2023, but for now will likely begin the season with Triple-A Norfolk.
