Yankees' Cam Eden: Traded to Bronx Bombers
The Yankees acquired Eden from the Blue Jays on Friday in exchange for cash considerations.
The 26-year-old finished last season on Toronto's big-league roster but was outrighted to Triple-A Buffalo during the offseason. Eden posted a .198/.299/.322 slash line with seven homers and 26 steals in 91 games for Buffalo, and he'll now serve as organizational outfield depth for the Yankees.

Blue Jays' Cam Eden: Cut from big-league camp
The Blue Jays reassigned Eden to minor-league camp Monday.
Eden saw action in five games with the Blue Jays late last season as a September call-up, but the 25-year-old outfielder reported to spring training as a non-roster invitee after Toronto outrighted him off the 40-man roster in November. Though he played in 11 games during the Blue Jays' Grapefruit League slate, Eden never seemed to be a serious threat to make the Opening Day roster.

Blue Jays' Cam Eden: Outrighted to Triple-A
The Blue Jays sent Eden outright to Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday.
Eden passed through outright waivers unclaimed and will remain part of the Blue Jays organization, though he no longer holds a 40-man roster spot. The 25-year-old outfielder spent the large majority of the 2023 season at the Triple-A level and posted an underwhelming .687 OPS across 460 plate appearances.

Blue Jays' Cam Eden: Added to roster
The Blue Jays selected Eden's contract from Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday, Mike Wilner of the Toronto Star reports.
Eden, 25, has hit .257/.354/.333 with three home runs and 53 stolen bases with Buffalo this season. He's not much of a prospect, but the outfielder has speed to burn and could function as a pinch runner for the Blue Jays down the stretch.
