Rays' Brailer Guerrero: Returns to action for Single-A club
Guerrero (undisclosed) has gone 5-for-14 with two doubles, one walk, three RBI and two runs in three games since being reinstated from Single-A Charleston's 7-day injured list Wednesday.
Guerrero hadn't played for Charleston in more than two months before being activated from the IL after making one rehab appearance in the rookie-level Florida Complex League. The 19-year-old outfielder remains one of the Rays' more talented lower-level prospects, but durability issues have caused his stock to take a tumble since he debuted in North America in 2024.

Rays' Brailer Guerrero: Sidelined again
Single-A Charleston placed Guerrero on the 7-day injured list June 24 with an undisclosed injury.
Guerrero has not played in almost a month, and while we don't know the nature of his injury, he has missed significant time in multiple seasons due to right shoulder issues. In fact, Guerrero's 36 games played in 2025 more than doubled his career total of 35 games played across 2023 and 2024. The talented lefty slugger is slashing .230/.342/.378 with four home runs, eight steals and a 29.1 percent strikeout rate.

Rays' Brailer Guerrero: Returning from shoulder injury
Guerrero (shoulder) is listed on Tampa Bay's roster for its March 13 Spring Breakout game versus Boston prospects, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Guerrero didn't play in the rookie-level Florida Complex League after June 22 last season while recovering from a lingering right shoulder injury, but he looks to be entering the 2025 campaign at full health. The 18-year-old outfielder posted a .909 OPS over his 125 plate appearances in the FCL last season, an impressive feat considering that he underwent surgery the prior summer to repair the labrum in the same shoulder.

Rays' Brailer Guerrero: Plagued by more shoulder problems
Guerrero didn't appear in any games in the rookie-level Florida Complex League after June 22 due to lingering problems in his right shoulder, Sam Dykstra of MiLB.com reports.
Guerrero previously suffered a torn labrum in the shoulder last summer and required surgery, but he was cleared for the start of the FCL season in early May. The 18-year-old performed well with a .324/.448/.461 slash line with eight extra-base hits and 13 stolen bases over 28 games, only to be shut down for the final month of the FCL season when his shoulder began acting up again. Dykstra hasn't indicated that Guerrero will require another surgery, so the expectation remains that the outfielder will be healthy again by the springtime.

Rays' Brailer Guerrero: Missing in action
Guerrero hasn't played in the Florida Complex League since June 22 due to an undisclosed injury.
There hasn't been any reporting on the reason for Guerrero's 25-day absence from the lineup. He suffered a torn labrum last summer that ended his Dominican Summer League season after seven games. Guerrero was breaking out in a big way this year prior to this absence, slashing .330/.452/.466 with two home runs and 13 steals in 28 games as one of the youngest hitters in the FCL.

Rays' Brailer Guerrero: Showing more speed than expected
Guerrero is slashing .337/.455/.489 with two home runs, 11 steals and a 25.9 percent strikeout rate through 25 games in the Florida Complex League.
Guerrero turns 18 in a week, so he is one of the youngest high-pedigree prospects in the FCL. He is listed at 6-foot-1, 215 pounds and was supposed to be a slower corner outfielder, but thus far Guerrero is 11-for-14 on stolen-base attempts while playing half his games in center field. If Guerrero gets a promotion to Single-A and performs well later this summer, his dynasty stock will continue to climb.
