Diamondbacks' Jansel Luis: Finishes season on IL
Single-A Visalia placed Luis (undisclosed) on its 7-day injured list Wednesday.
Luis, 19, had his season come to an early end, but the switch-hitting shortstop likely performed well enough to earn an appointment to High-A Hillsboro to begin the 2025 campaign. He logged a .265/.337/.414 slash line with seven home runs and 20 stolen bases across 523 plate appearances for Visalia.
