Diamondbacks' Miguel Aguilar: Moved to MiLB camp
The Diamondbacks reassigned Aguilar to their minor-league camp Thursday.
Aguilar made nine relief appearances for Arizona in 2021, but after being outrighted off the 40-man roster in the offseason, he faced long odds to break camp as a member of the big-league bullpen. He'll continue to serve as organizational relief depth at Triple-A Reno.

Diamondbacks' Miguel Aguilar: Outrighted to Triple-A
Aguilar was outrighted to Triple-A Reno on Friday.
Aguilar made his major-league debut in the second half of the 2021 campaign, and he recorded a 6.43 ERA and 1.43 WHIP in seven innings across nine relief appearances with Arizona. However, he'll now lose his spot on the 40-man roster.

Diamondbacks' Miguel Aguilar: Sent to minors
The Diamondbacks optioned Aguilar to Triple-A Reno on Monday.
Aguilar was dispatched to the minors to create a spot on the 28-man active roster for closer Tyler Clippard (illness), who was reinstated from the COVID-19 injured list in a corresponding move. During his week-long stint with the big club, Aguilar made three relief appearances and gave up two hits and two walks over two scoreless innings.

Diamondbacks' Miguel Aguilar: Recalled by Diambondbacks
Aguilar was recalled from Triple-A Reno on Tuesday.
Aguilar made the first six appearances of his big-league career earlier in the year but failed to impress, allowing five runs in five innings while striking out just three batters. He hasn't been particularly good in Reno, either, posting a 4.66 ERA and 1.55 WHIP in 36.2 innings of work.

Aguilar was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Monday.
Aguilar made three relief appearances during his week in Arizona's bullpen and allowed two runs on two hits and no walks while striking out one in two innings. He earned his first career major-league win Tuesday but will head back to the minors as part of a shift to make room for Joe Mantiply (undisclosed) and Jake Hager in the bullpen.

Diamondbacks' Miguel Aguilar: Earns win in relief
Aguilar (1-1) earned the win in relief Tuesday against the Phillies after tossing 1.1 scoreless innings, fanning one.
Aguilar has made five appearances this season and had allowed runs in each of his prior three outings before Wednesday's solid performance, recording four outs while needing just 19 pitches (13 strikes) to do so. He still owns a woeful 9.64 ERA through five appearances, but this outing was clearly a step in the right direction for the left-hander.

The Diamondbacks recalled Aguilar from Triple-A Reno ahead of Sunday's game against the Padres.
Aguilar is up with the big club for the second time this season after he gave up three runs in three innings over his three relief appearances during his first stint in Arizona. He'll likely be limited to a low-leverage role out of the bullpen while he's with the Diamondbacks.
