Eye on Basketball Podcast: Going isolation again

Once again, the internet is too cold to work in my apartment so I'm going isolation-centric and taking your questions using the #EOBPod hashtag on Twitter. Before we jump into the questions, I give my thoughts on the trade between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls. How much does Luol Deng change the Cavs? Should the Cavs give him long-term money or is that a risky proposition? Can they make the playoffs and make the second round as constructed? Should the Bulls amnesty Carlos Boozer or can they move him in a trade?

J.R. Smith of the New York Knicks has been fined $50,000 by the NBA. How did it get to this point with him? Was it really worth it to not take the league seriously when they warned him about untying players' shoelaces? Could we get to a point of him getting suspended or getting technical fouls called against him? What are the best shoelaces for untying? What will he get fined for next?

We discuss all of this, plus Kevin Durant gunning without Russell Westbrook, deciding between cake or pie, and what talent is in the NBA.
