Keith Benson: Signs with team from Dubai
Benson agreed to terms with Shabab Al Ahli on Monday, Sportando.com reports.
The veteran center will continue his career overseas. He last played in the NBA during the 2011-12 season, where he saw action in three games with the Warriors. Most recently, Benson played in the Australian National League, where he averaged 5.8 points and 3.9 rebounds in 16 games for the South East Melbourne Phoenix.

Benson was waived by the Heat on Tuesday, NBA.com reports.
The move comes as no surprise, as Benson was only in camp on a partially guaranteed contract. The journeyman will look to catch on with another team but will likely be forced to try his luck in the D-League or overseas.

Heat's Keith Benson: Signs with Heat
Benson signed a training camp contract with the Heat on Friday.
Benson spent last season with the Heat's developmental league affiliate, appearing in 49 games with them. He averaged 13.8 points per game and grabbed 7.5 rebounds. The 6-11 center has struggled to find a permanent home in the NBA since being drafted in 2011, and it is unlikely that he will make the final cut with Hassan Whiteside, Willie Reed, Josh McRoberts, and Udonis Haslem already on the roster.

Benson will likely play with the Heat's D-League affiliate for the 2015-16 season if he passes through waivers unclaimed.
