Raptors' Thaddeus Young: Strong showing off bench Saturday
Young ended with 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 0-2 FT), five rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals in 30 minutes during Saturday's 110-102 win over the 76ers.
The veteran forward hadn't played more than eight minutes in any of the first three games in the series, but with the Raptors in a 3-0 hole, coach Nick Nurse gave Young plenty of run and he responded. After this performance, it seems likely the 33-year-old will have a significant role again in Game 5 on Monday.

Raptors' Thaddeus Young: Remains doubtful for Monday
Young (thumb) attended Monday morning's shootaround but remains doubtful for Monday's Game 2 against the 76ers, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
Young was seen with his left hand taped up at shootaround, and he managed to get some shots up, but it's still unlikely that he plays in Game 2 after hyperextending his left thumb in Saturday's Game 1. If he's ultimately ruled out, Precious Achiuwa and Khem Birch could see additional run in the Raptors' frontcourt Monday.

Raptors' Thaddeus Young: Good to go
Young (thumb) will play in Game 2 on Monday against Philadelphia, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Young's status for the second game of the series was in question due to a hyperextended left thumb, an injury that occurred during Game 1. However, he's been given the green light and will be ready to go off the bench. Young played a limited role Saturday, logging six minutes and one rebound in the loss.

Raptors' Thaddeus Young: Bumped up to questionable
Young (thumb) has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable for Monday night's Game 2 against the 76ers.
Young hyperextended his left thumb during Saturday's Game 1, and while the Raptors initially believed he wouldn't have much of a chance to play Monday, it looks like he's made some tangible progress. At this juncture, it's still a 50-50 proposition, but Young will likely go through a pregame workout before a final call is made. Scottie Barnes (ankle) has been ruled out for Game 2, while Gary Trent (illness) remains doubtful.

Raptors' Thaddeus Young: Likely to miss Game 2
Young was diagnosed Sunday with a hyperextended left thumb and is listed as doubtful Monday for Game 2 of the Raptors' first-round playoff series with the 76ers, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
A valued member of the Raptors' second unit, Young's expected absence Monday will loom even larger Monday with starters Gary Trent (illness) and Scottie Barnes (ankle) also listed as doubtful for Game 2. Young suffered the left thumb injury in the second quarter of Saturday's 131-111 loss in Game 1 of the series before undergoing an MRI on Sunday that confirmed he hyperextended the digit. The veteran forward was present at practice Sunday but didn't participate in the session and was sporting a wrap on his thumb, so he could be at risk of missing additional time beyond Monday's game.

Raptors' Thaddeus Young: Exits with sprained thumb
Young won't return to Saturday's Game 1 against the 76ers due to a sprained thumb, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports. He played six minutes and scored two points (1-1 FG).
Young attempted to stay in the game following the injury but ultimately won't return. If he misses time beyond Saturday, more minutes could be in store for Chris Boucher.

Raptors' Thaddeus Young: Efficient performance in win
Young logged 14 points (6-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal in 24 minutes during Friday's 117-115 win over the Rockets.
Young has scored in double digits off the bench in four of his last eight games, but his numbers have been inconsistent. This outing against the Rockets allowed the veteran power forward to snap a four-game stretch in which he couldn't score more than seven points in any contest. He's averaged 7.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game over his last 10 contests.

Raptors' Thaddeus Young: Stellar production off bench
Young finished with 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt), eight rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal across 28 minutes Monday in the Raptors' 115-112 overtime win over the Celtics.
With Gary Trent (toe) back from a three-game absence, the Raptors had their ideal starting five intact for the first time since February, but Young still saw substantial minutes off the bench. Though the Raptors' big men were helped by Khem Birch (knee) sitting out, it was Young who was the greater priority than Chris Boucher (15 minutes). Considering Young was held under 20 minutes in each of the previous seven contests, he can't be expected to regularly pick up extended run like he did Monday, but he at least provided a useful reminder of what sort of production he can offer when given meaningful run.

Raptors' Thaddeus Young: Scores 11 points off bench
Young had 11 points (4-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one assist, one block and two steals in 15 minutes during Saturday's 131-91 win over Indiana.
Young scored in double figures for the first time since March 1. Over his last 12 appearances, the veteran big man has averaged 4.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.1 steals in 16.2 minutes per game. While he continues to garner consistent playing time, his lack of substantial production should keep him off fantasy radars.

Raptors' Thaddeus Young: Continues meager production
Young totaled three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 0-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist in 12 minutes during Wednesday's 103-100 victory over the Clippers.
Young was a nonfactor during his time on the court, which has been the case more often than not of late. The veteran hasn't posted double-digit points since March 1 despite typically getting minutes in the mid-teens or higher. Young has been a decent per-minute producer of boards and steals, but he isn't on the radar in fantasy leagues.
