  • Nets' Seth Curry: Likely available Opening Night

Coach Steve Nash relayed Wednesday that Curry (ankle) could log action late in the preseason and should be available for the Opening Night on Oct. 19 versus the Pelicans, Nick Friedell of ESPN.com reports.

Curry will miss the first three preseason tilts and will likely log limited action in the preseason finale if he makes a cameo. When healthy, Curry has plenty of competition for playing time in Joe Harris, Cam Thomas and Patty Mills, among others.

  • Nets' Seth Curry: Not fully cleared yet

Curry (ankle) said in a press conference Monday that he's about "85-90 percent" and "doing everything but 5-on-5," Chris Milholen of NetsDaily.com reports.

Curry underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle in May after battling an ankle issue throughout the stretch run. The Nets will likely remain cautious with the sharpshooter during training camp, but more information will probably be available as the regular season draws closer.

  • Nets' Seth Curry: Undergoes successful surgery

Curry underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle Monday and is expected to make a full recovery prior to the start of next season's training camp, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports.

Curry battled an ankle injury toward the end of the season but still averaged 14.5 points, 3.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 33.3 minutes during the first-round loss to the Celtics. The sharpshooter has one year remaining on his four-year deal and figures to be a key piece of Brooklyn's offense next season.

  • Nets' Seth Curry: Cooks despite loss

Curry logged 23 points (9-13 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds, two assists and two blocks over 38 minutes during Monday's 116-112 loss to Boston.

Curry wraps up the series shooting 52.2 percent from beyond the arc en route to 14.5 points per contest. After a career-best season in Philadelphia, his volume numbers dipped slightly in Brooklyn, but his efficiency skyrocketed. Curry remains on contract with Brooklyn next season and can be viewed as a prolific source of threes.

  • Nets' Seth Curry: Finds shooting stroke Wednesday

Curry totaled 16 points (6-11 FG, 4-6 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and one block over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 114-107 loss to the Celtics.

After connecting on just 1-of-8 three-pointers over his last two games, Curry found his shooting stroke Wednesday and finished as one of five Nets players to score in double figures. However, the sharpshooter failed to add substantial contributions elsewhere, which made for a lackluster fantasy outing.

  • Nets' Seth Curry: Invisible during play-in win

Curry chipped in zero points (0-4 FG, 0-4 3Pt), two rebounds and one steal over 33 minutes during Tuesday's 115-108 victory over the Cavaliers.

Curry was essentially a non-factor, taking just four shots and failing to convert one. He'll presumably get more opportunities in the series against the Celtics, but it's a discouraging start to non-regular-season basketball for the sharpshooter.

  • Nets' Seth Curry: Officially available Tuesday

Curry (ankle) has been upgraded to available for Tuesday's play-in matchup against the Cavaliers, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports.

As expected, Curry will be available despite lingering ankle issues. Since joining the Nets (16 games), Curry has averaged 14.9 points on 49.3 percent shooting from the field and 46.8 percent from three.
