Bogdanovic tallied 30 points (10-14 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight assists, four rebounds, two blocks and two steals across 32 minutes in Serbia's 96-85 win over South Sudan in the Paris Olympics on Saturday.
Bogdanovic was lethal from beyond the arc, and he has served as an extremely productive second option behind Nikola Jokic. The 31-year-old did it all in the win while leading the team with a game high in points and a team high in assists. South Sudan was able to keep the game competitive up until the middle of the fourth quarter, but Bogdanovic's offensive barrage while Jokic was on the bench helped Serbia pull away. The veteran will be crucial for Serbia in the Olympic quarterfinals, and his ability to get a bucket while Jokic is not on the floor could be game-altering.
