Clippers' Amir Coffey: Not starting Tuesday
Coffey is not in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Bulls, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.
The 25-year-old started Sunday and delivered 18 points (5-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 8-9 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 38 minutes with Kawhi Leonard (knee) and Paul George (knee) unavailable. Coffey totaled just 10 minutes over the five previous contests, so he's unlikely to have a major role Tuesday with Leonard and George back in action.

Clippers' Amir Coffey: Drops 18 points in spot start
Coffey fouled out of Sunday's 122-99 loss to the Cavaliers after recording 18 points (5-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 8-9 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal over 38 minutes.
Coffey played an expanded role with a number of the Clippers' primary pieces sitting out Sunday. While the 18 points marked a season-high for Coffey, the performance isn't one fantasy managers should be chasing. Prior to Sunday, Coffey had appeared in two of the past five games, with most of his minutes coming at the end of blowouts.

Clippers' Amir Coffey: Empty night despite start
Coffey logged 11 points (4-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt), one rebound and one assist in 38 minutes during Thursday's 111-95 loss to the Suns.
Coffey shuffled up in the rotation, sliding into the starting lineup as the Clippers went without many key pieces. While he did log a team-high 38 minutes, his production left a lot to be desired. With the bulk of missing players set to return Saturday, Coffey will likely go back to being a rotational piece, bringing to an end his brief period of relevance.

Clippers' Amir Coffey: Goes for 13 points, seven dimes
Coffey contributed 13 points (5-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and seven assists over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 124-107 loss to Golden State.
Coffey got the opportunity to make his first start of the season with both Paul George (hamstring) and Kawhi Leonard (ankle) out of commission, and he responded with his best stat line of the season. This was Coffey's first performance with double-digit points, and he more than tripled his previous single-game season-high mark in assists. In fact, coming into Wednesday the 25-year-old had compiled just eight dimes in 15 contests.

Clippers' Amir Coffey: Starting Wednesday
Coffey will start Wednesday's game against the Warriors, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
With Kawhi Leonard (ankle) sidelined, Coffey will make his first start of the 2022-23 season. In 15 appearances, Coffey has averaged a mere 2.6 points in 9.8 minutes per contest, but he is coming off arguably his best performance of the season after contributing eight points, five rebounds and a steal in 22 minutes Monday against the Jazz.

Clippers' Amir Coffey: Light production off bench
Coffey recorded three points (0-1 FG, 3-4 FT) and three rebounds across 12 minutes during Monday's 95-93 victory over Houston.
Coffey has flashed as a scorer at times, but he's currently deeply buried on the bench, and even Kawhi Leonard's (knee) ongoing absence doesn't look as though it'll open up a substantial role for him.

Clippers' Amir Coffey: Leads bench with 15 points
Coffey recorded 15 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT), two assists, two rebounds and a steal across 24 minutes in Monday's 102-97 exhibition win over the Trail Blazers.
One shouldn't read too much into Coffey's preseason outing, as the team elected to ride a hot hand. The team is loaded with guard talent. Despite a promising 2021-22 campaign with the team, his role will likely diminish, especially if John Wall can play at a high level after an extended absence.

Clippers' Amir Coffey: Re-upping with Clips
Coffey and the Clippers agreed Thursday to a three-year, $11 million contract, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Coffey was a significant part of the Clippers' rotation last season, and he reached career highs nearly across the board with 9.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 22.7 minutes. His role will presumably be reduced next season with the team expected to start the year healthy.

Clippers' Amir Coffey: Becomes restricted free agent
Coffey became a restricted free agent Wednesday, as the Clippers tendered him a $2.1 million qualifying offer, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
Coffey was a significant part of the Clippers' rotation last season, and he reached career highs nearly across the board with 9.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 22.7 minutes. It wouldn't be surprising if the Clippers brought him back, though his role will presumably be reduced significantly once the team is fully healthy.

Clippers' Amir Coffey: Career night in blowout win
Coffey produced 35 points (13-22 FG, 7-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, five assists and one block over 43 minutes during Sunday's 138-88 win over Oklahoma City.
Coffey took full advantage of the Clippers resting several regulars to post easily his best game as a pro. The Minnesota product set new career highs in points, made field goals, field goal attempts, made three-pointers and rebounds, while tacking on five assists and committing just two turnovers in 43 minutes. While Coffey has had a few statement games this season -- he went for 32 points, seven assists, six boards and four steals against the Bucks earlier this month -- he's a fringe-rotation player when the Clippers are at full strength.

Coffey is starting Sunday's game against Oklahoma City, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
Coffey came off the bench in five of his last six appearances and averaged 5.7 points in 10.0 minutes per game. However, he'll draw the start since the Clippers are resting several starters in Sunday's regular-season finale.
