Bane supplied 34 points (10-16 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 10-11 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one block across 40 minutes in Wednesday's 109-97 loss to the 76ers in the Play-In Tournament.
Bane was a bright spot for the Magic, turning in an extremely efficient performance en route to a game-high 34 points while Paolo Banchero struggled. Including the regular season, Bane has reached the 30-point threshold 13 times on the campaign. The 27-year-old swingman will aim to remain productive in Friday's win-or-go-home Play-In Tournament game against the Hornets, who are coming off an overtime win over the Heat on Tuesday.

Bane was limited to just 18 minutes, closing the regular season with a disappointing effort. It's fair to assume that Orlando was hoping to preserve Bane for the postseason, although plans changed when Boston took charge during the third quarter. Paolo Banchero didn't have his best performance Friday, but Bane was one of several players who stepped up offensively to carry the Magic in a game where Cooper Flagg scored 51 points for the Mavs. Bane seems to be getting into a groove with the playoffs right around the corner, and he's now scored 20-plus points in three of his last five appearances. He's also been locked in from deep, and this was his fifth straight game in which he drained multiple threes after being limited to just one three-pointer made in a three-game stretch between March 21 and March 24.

Even though Paolo Banchero and Jalen Suggs posted solid stat lines across the board, it was Bane who led the Magic in scoring. Bane has scored at least 17 points in five games in a row and has made at least two three-pointers in three consecutive appearances, so he's doing what is asked of him. The veteran guard averaged a robust 20.4 points per game in March while shooting 38.3 percent from deep, so fantasy managers shouldn't have a problem relying on him even if he has a few down games here and there.

Bane connected from all over in Monday's win. His only misses came from behind the arc, where he still shot 40 percent on five tries. While Bane's three-point percentage is at a career-low 35.7 percent, he's one of the best free-throw shooters in the league this season, shooting 93.0 percent from the charity stripe.
