Bane racked up 18 points (7-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds and six assists over 33 minutes during Wednesday's 112-110 victory over the Pacers.
The former Grizzly is finding his rhythm with the Magic. Bane has scored at least 15 points in seven straight games, averaging 21.4 points, 5.4 boards, 4.0 assists, 1.6 threes and 1.1 blocks over that stretch.

Magic's Desmond Bane: Good to go Wednesday
Bane (back) is available for Wednesday's game against the Pacers, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Bane dealt with back spasms in Monday's loss to Toronto and was deemed questionable for Wednesday's contest. However, the 27-year-old swingman will shed that tag and keep his record of perfect attendance this season alive. Magic's Desmond Bane: Scores 24 points Saturday
Bane had 24 points (7-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 10-10 FT), one rebound and six assists in 38 minutes during Saturday's 127-126 win over the Nuggets.
Bane didn't make a single three-pointer for the second straight game, as he shot 0-for-6 from downtown in the loss to the Hornets on Friday. However, that inefficiency didn't stop Bane from posting a solid stat line across the board. This was the fourth time Bane scored at least 20 points in his last five appearances, and he's firmly entrenched as one of the most reliable offensive weapons for the Magic. Bane has 20 or more points in six of his 12 appearances in December, so his fantasy upside would be even higher if he were able to increase his efficiency.

Bane notched 23 points (6-15 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 7-7 FT), four rebounds, five assists, three blocks and three steals in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 110-106 win over the Trail Blazers.
Bane added three blocks and three steals to a productive offensive result in Tuesday's win. He was especially effective in the closing minutes, swatting a key shot as the Trail Blazers tried to hold onto a slim lead. Bane got the help he needed from the rest of the squad after an uninspired loss Monday night to the Warriors. With two of the year's final four games against the Pacers and Hornets, Bane should be able to finish 2025 strong against a couple of weak opponents.

Bane had 20 points (8-16 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two blocks over 33 minutes during Monday's 120-97 loss to the Warriors.
Although Bane shot 50 percent from the floor and finished with a strong number, the loss of Franz Wagner (ankle) is putting a lot of undue pressure on Bane and the core of Orlando's first unit. The Magic have gone 2-3 without Wagner, and although Bane has averaged 23.6 points per game in his absence, the rest of the team hasn't offered the same level of support.

Bane racked up 32 points (13-21 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block over 39 minutes during Saturday's 128-127 overtime win over the Jazz.
Bane sealed the victory with a driving layup to the basket with less than a second remaining in the overtime period. This was an excellent bounce-back performance from Bane, who was held to just six points on 3-for-11 shooting his last time out, and he also snatched a steal after failing to do so during Thursday's loss to the Nuggets. While there have been some low points, Bane has been mostly solid over the past month, flirting with top-50 value behind averages of 21.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.0 triples per contest.

For the sixth time this season, Bane was held to single-digit points. His usage rate fluctuates a lot in Orlando, but this can simply be chalked up to an off night during a tough matchup. For the season, Bane holds averages of 18.5 points, 4.7 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 0.7 steals and 1.7 three-pointers.

Bane and the Magic got off to a slow start to Tuesday's NBA Cup clash, but the sixth-year guard proceeded to score in double digits in each of the final three quarters of the game, including 15 points in the fourth, to help punch a ticket to the NBA Cup semifinals Saturday. Bane closed Sunday's 106-100 loss to the Knicks with 16 points (7-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt), six rebounds, four assists and one steal across 34 minutes.
It was another fairly quiet offensive performance from Bane, who has just 35 points total in his last three games -- less than the 37 he dropped in back-to-back contests on the Pistons and Bulls on Nov. 28 and Dec. 1. The Magic saw Jalen Suggs (leg) and Franz Wagner (lower leg) leave Sunday's game early however, and if either or both of those injuries prove to be serious, Bane's usage could skyrocket. He's scored in double digits in 13 of the last 14 games, averaging 21.1 points, 4.7 assists, 4.5 boards, 1.9 threes and 0.9 steals over that stretch.

Bane has had a blistering hand over the past two games, going 25-for-42 from the field while amassing 74 total points. The Magic have now won three in a row and six of their past seven games, and Bane is a big reason why they've managed to stay afloat despite not having Paolo Banchero (groin). Orlando will seek its fourth straight victory Wednesday against the Spurs.

Bane generated 37 points (13-25 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 11-12 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal across 39 minutes of Friday's 112-109 win over the Pistons.
Bane has had an underwhelming start to his first season in Orlando, with his points, rebounds, assists and steal averages all decreasing from a season ago. Including Friday's game, Bane is shooting 31.6 percent from beyond the arc -- nearly six percent lower than his previous worst. However, he flashed his scoring capabilities against Detroit, eclipsing the 30-point mark for the first time in 2025-26. Bane's eight rebounds were also a season high.

Bane, along with the other starters, was pulled early due to the blowout nature of the game, but not before he dropped 15 points and dished out six assists. With star Paolo Banchero (groin) still sidelined, Bane will be asked to shoulder a lot of the offensive production until the former returns.
