  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Available for Sunday

Raynaud's MRI on his left knee showed no structural damage, and he'll be available for Sunday's game against the Bucks, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports. Raynaud hurt his knee in the fourth quarter of Friday's loss to the Suns and required assistance getting back to the locker room. However, the rookie second-rounder avoided a serious injury and will suit up against Milwaukee. The 22-year-old center has racked up five double-doubles over his last 10 appearances, averaging 13.9 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 31.0 minutes per contest during that span.

  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Helped to locker room Friday

Raynaud exited to the locker room in the fourth quarter of Friday's game against the Suns due to an apparent left knee injury, Chris Biderman of The Sacramento Bee reports. Raynaud grabbed at his left knee before limping to the locker room with 4:19 remaining in the final quarter. The big man required assistance getting to the back, so it appears unlikely he'll return in the final minutes of the fourth.

  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Posts double-double in blowout loss

Raynaud provided 12 points (5-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds and two blocks over 35 minutes during Tuesday's 131-90 loss to the Clippers. Raynaud was one of the few bright spots for the Kings, as he continued to display a firm handle on the starting gig as the team's big man amid the absence of Domantas Sabonis (knee). Drew Eubanks logged only 13 minutes as the backup, which is solid evidence that the team will stick with Raynaud moving forward.

  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Continues strong work under basket

Raynaud fouled out of Sunday's 125-124 overtime win over Houston after recording 12 points (6-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 14 rebounds and one steal across 37 minutes. Raynaud was effective once again as the Kings' replacement at center with his third consecutive double-double. The streak may be enough to give him the backup job for good, as Drew Eubanks (thumb) and Precious Achiuwa have failed to meet expectations as fill-in candidates for Domantas Sabonis (knee). Those in need of center assistance should consider Raynaud, who will likely continue to post decent numbers over the next month while Sabonis remains sidelined.

  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Records double-double in loss

Raynaud accumulated 17 points (7-13 FG, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 30 minutes during Saturday's 98-93 loss to Portland. Raynaud is one of many big men who have tried to fill Domantas Sabonis' (knee) shoes, and one could argue that the 2025 second-round pick has been the most effective player to attempt the task. With Drew Eubanks (thumb) out until January and Precious Achiuwa failing to show consistency, the door is wide open for Raynaud to make a sizeable impact. The Stanford product should yield some short-term value in deeper leagues for those who need help at center.

  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Notches best game of career

Raynaud chipped in 29 points (10-20 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 37 minutes during Thursday's 134-133 overtime loss to Portland. The rookie has a new career high in scoring following the overtime loss to Portland. Raynaud's 11 rebounds also tied his best performance on the glass this year. The Stanford product is seeing increased run while Domantas Sabonis works his way back from a meniscus tear. In December, Raynaud is averaging 17.0 points and 8.3 rebounds in 30.1 minutes per game. While Sabonis could return to the court soon, Raynaud is making the case to continue receiving ample playing time.

  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Limited impact vs. Minnesota

Raynaud had eight points (3-6 FG, 2-4 FT), six rebounds and one block over 26 minutes during Sunday's 117-103 loss to the Timberwolves. Raynaud took a step back in his fourth consecutive start, though that was more due to a lack of touches rather than a lack of efficiency. If Domantas Sabonis (knee) is cleared to return Thursday against the Trail Blazers, Raynaud would move back to the bench, and that would limit his fantasy upside considerably in deeper leagues.

  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Continues to produce

Raynaud provided 15 points (7-13 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and one steal across 37 minutes during Thursday's 136-105 loss to the Nuggets. Raynaud has posted double-digit points and at least eight rebounds in his last three starts while filling in for Domantas Sabonis (knee). The rookie out of Stanford has also had three games with double-digit points off the bench, and he should remain a valuable fantasy commodity as long as he stays in the first unit, which should last for at least one more game. Sabonis isn't expected back until the Dec. 18 matchup against the Trail Blazers at the earliest.

  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Double-doubles in start

Raynaud contributed 12 points (6-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt), 10 rebounds, one assist and two blocks over 25 minutes during Saturday's 127-111 win over the Heat. After scoring 25 points in Wednesday's loss to the Rockets, Raynaud drew his first career start Saturday. The rookie second-rounder delivered an efficient performance from the field and finished with 12-plus points for the third time over his last four outings. Additionally, the Stanford product grabbed a game-high-tying 10 boards en route to his first double-double. With Domantas Sabonis (knee) set to remain on the shelf through at least mid-December, Raynaud could continue to get increased looks moving forward.

  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Draws start Saturday

Raynaud will draw the start Saturday against the Heat, Frankie Cartoscelli of KHTK Sactown Sports 1140 reports. This will be the first career start for Raynaud. This comes as no surprise, as he's been terrific of late. He most recently recorded 25 points (10-15 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 32 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 121-95 loss to the Rockets.

  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Drops seven points in loss

Raynaud provided seven points (3-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and four rebounds in 19 minutes during Wednesday's 113-99 loss to Oklahoma City. Raynaud likely only saw the court for so many minutes due to Domantas Sabonis (knee) being sidelined. The rookie will likely be splitting time with the Stockton Kings of the G League this season, so he is unlikely to even appear in some of Sacramento's games as long as Sabonis returns to action soon.

  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Recalled to NBA

Sacramento recalled Raynaud from the G League's Stockton Kings on Sunday. After producing 18 points (8-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 15 rebounds, two blocks and one assist in 37 minutes during the G League Stockton Kings' 102-97 loss to the San Diego Clippers, Raynaud was quickly recalled in order to provide emergency depth to Sacramento's front line.

  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Practicing Tuesday

Raynaud (illness) practiced Tuesday, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. Raynaud is feeling better after missing Monday's practice. The rookie second-rounder has Drew Eubanks and Dario Saric ahead of him on the depth chart at center, meaning he could be hard-pressed to crack the Opening Night rotation.

  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Solid showing in SL win

Raynaud totaled 12 points (6-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-2 FT), seven rebounds and one assist over 24 minutes in Saturday's 98-88 Summer League win over the Raptors. Raynaud's numbers weren't flashy, but his contributions helped propel the Kings to the Summer League title game. The rookie second-round pick has been managing wrist soreness but has otherwise put together an impressive and intriguing summer.

  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Will play Wednesday

Raynaud (wrist) is available for Wednesday's Las Vegas Summer League game against the Cavaliers, Brenden Nunes of KHTK Sactown Sports 1140 reports. After sitting out Monday's matchup with the Suns due to right wrist soreness, Raynaud will return to action Wednesday. The rookie second-round pick should see heavy usage against Cleveland. Raynaud posted 16 points (6-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal over 26 minutes during last Thursday's 84-81 Summer League win over the Magic.

  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Adds 16 points in victory

Raynaud totaled 16 points (6-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal over 26 minutes during Thursday's 84-81 Summer League win over the Magic. Raynaud was impressive on the offensive end, doing damage both in the post and from beyond the arc. He was one of four starters to finish in double figures but was the only one who didn't commit a turnover. Thursday's performance was a promising start for the No. 42 overall pick out of Stanford.

  • Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Selected by Sacramento

Raynaud was selected by the Kings with the No. 42 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. Raynaud didn't start playing basketball until his final year of high school, making his continued progression as a player even more impressive. He had a monster year at Stanford in 2024-25, averaging 20 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.4 blocks and 0.9 steals per game while shooting 35 percent from deep on 5.5 attempts per contest. The Kings have Domantas Sabonis as their starting center and Jonas Valanciunas as the backup, but Raynaud should find a way to see minutes in the rotation. He isn't expected to do much in fantasy in the early stages of his career, but he might be a prospect worth stashing in some formats if he finds a way to crack the rotation on a steady basis.
