Jazz's Collin Sexton: Another absence coming
Sexton (ankle) is out for Thursday's game versus the Clippers.
Sexton's absence streak will extend to six games Thursday due to a left ankle sprain. With Jordan Clarkson (foot) also out, Keyonte George should receive increased playing time. Sexton's next chance to suit up will come after the All-Star break against the Thunder on Feb. 21.

Jazz's Collin Sexton: Not playing Wednesday
Sexton (ankle) is out for Wednesday's game against the Lakers.
Sexton will be sidelined for the first leg of this back-to-back set before the All-Star break, and the absence of the star guard will decimate Utah's offense considerably. This will be his fifth straight absence, leading to Jordan Clarkson keeping his place in the starting unit.

Jazz's Collin Sexton: Out at least one week
The Jazz announced Tuesday that Sexton will be re-evaluated in one week after spraining his left ankle during the first quarter of Monday's 112-111 loss to the Pacers.
Sexton played just three minutes Monday before exiting the game with the injury. Though X-rays ruled out any structural damage to his ankle, Sexton's sprain is considered significant enough to keep him out for at least a few games and possibly through the All-Star break. Keyonte George started the second half of Monday's game in Sexton's stead and could see elevated minutes during the latter's absence along with Isaiah Collier and Jordan Clarkson.

Jazz's Collin Sexton: Night ends early with ankle sprain
Sexton won't return to Monday's game against the Pacers due to a left ankle sprain.
Sexton limped back to the locker room after playing only three minutes Monday, during which he posted two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one rebound. With the 26-year-old sidelined for the rest of the contest, Keyonte George and Jordan Clarkson will likely see expanded roles off the bench.

Jazz's Collin Sexton: Exits to locker room Monday
Sexton went back to the locker room after sustaining an apparent left ankle injury in the first quarter of Monday's game against Indiana, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Sexton limped back to the locker room after appearing to roll his left ankle on a drive to the basket. If the 26-year-old is unable to return, Keyonte George and Jordan Clarkson should pick up the slack the rest of the way.

Jazz's Collin Sexton: Team-high 22 points Saturday
Sexton recorded 22 points (6-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 9-9 FT), five rebounds and eight assists over 31 minutes during Saturday's 113-99 victory over Orlando.
Sexton led the Jazz in scoring and assists Saturday and finished as the game's third-leading scorer behind Franz Wagner (37) and Cole Anthony (23). Sexton has scored at least 20 points in 11 of his last 14 games, and over that span, he has averaged 21.6 points, 5.1 assists and 3.6 rebounds over 30.7 minutes per contest while shooting 39.4 percent from three on 5.1 3PA/G.

Jazz's Collin Sexton: Contributes 19 points in loss
Sexton had 19 points (5-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 7-8 FT), five assists and three rebounds across 30 minutes during Thursday's 138-113 loss to Minnesota.
The 26-year-old finished as the club's second-leading scorer behind Keyonte George (23 points), albeit in a blowout loss. Sexton has been solid through 13 appearances in January, during which he has averaged 21.5 points, 4.8 assists and 3.5 rebounds in 30.8 minutes per contest. With the rebuilding Jazz positioned to be sellers at the Feb. 6 trade deadline, the seventh-year pro could be a candidate to be moved with the club likely to rely more heavily on its young core.

Jazz's Collin Sexton: Drops 30 points in loss
Sexton notched 30 points (12-19 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, four assists and two steals over 34 minutes during Tuesday's 114-103 loss to Golden State.
The Jazz were missing most of their key contributors Tuesday for the second leg of this back-to-back set, allowing Sexton to soak up a ton of usage. A lot of players in Utah are seeing their names in the rumor mill with the team positioned to be sellers, and Sexton is one of them. His fantasy value can swing in a big way in either direction depending on how the deadline goes.

Jazz's Collin Sexton: Goes for 19 points Monday
Sexton ended with 19 points (6-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds and four assists in 27 minutes during Monday's 125-110 loss to Milwaukee.
Sexton was one of the few standout performers for the Jazz in yet another loss, though at least the veteran guard continues to be consistently productive despite the team's overall struggles. Sexton has surpassed the 15-point mark in 17 outings in a row, a stretch in which he's posted a solid stat line of 21.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 0.8 steals per game while shooting 46.8 percent from the floor.

Jazz's Collin Sexton: Struggles from deep Saturday
Sexton produced 20 points (5-17 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 9-10 FT), three rebounds and four assists in 30 minutes during Saturday's 125-103 loss to Memphis.
Sexton had a decent stat line on the surface, but it was impossible to overlook his shooting woes, as he missed 12 of his 17 shots, including all but one from beyond the arc. Truthfully, the fact that he went 9-for-10 from the charity stripe salvaged what would've otherwise been a woeful fantasy line. Despite the shooting woes, Sexton remains awfully consistent as a scoring weapon for the rebuilding Jazz and has scored at least 20 points in seven of his last eight appearances.

Jazz's Collin Sexton: Won't play Monday
Sexton won't play Monday against the Pelicans due to rest purposes, Ben Anderson of KSL News Salt Lake City reports.
The Jazz will be missing several regulars Monday and Sexton has been a late addition to the list due to rest-related reasons. This means Isaiah Collier and Svi Mykhailiuk could be in line to log more minutes. Sexton's next chance to play will come against the Thunder on Wednesday.

Jazz's Collin Sexton: Resting Wednesday
Sexton has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Hornets for rest purposes, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Sexton will get a night off for the first time this season, but he should be back in action for Friday's game against the Pelicans. With the 26-year-old guard joining a long list of Jazz players already ruled out for Wednesday's game due to injuries, reserve guards such as Isaiah Collier, Svi Mykhailiuk and Elijah Harkless are all candidates to move into larger roles.

Jazz's Collin Sexton: Another 20-point outing Saturday
Sexton logged 20 points (8-17 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds and four assists in 29 minutes during Saturday's 114-106 loss to the Suns.
Sexton was able to score at least 20 points in his fourth straight game Saturday, and he continued to handle the bulk of the ball-handling duties amid the absences of backcourt mates Keyonte George (heel) and Jordan Clarkson (foot). Over his last eight games, Sexton is averaging 21.4 points, 4.9 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 2.0 threes in 29.5 minutes. The 26-year-old combo guard doesn't bring much to the table defensively from a fantasy perspective, but he's shooting a career-high 42.1 percent from deep and ranks among the league's elite in free-throw percentage (89.8) in 2024-25 thus far.

Jazz's Collin Sexton: Another 20-point display
Sexton chipped in 23 points (9-18 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound, five assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Thursday's 97-92 loss to the Heat.
Sexton extended his streak of games with at least 20 points to three contests, and he's reached that tally in six of his last seven appearances. During that seven-game stretch, the veteran guard is averaging 21.6 points per contest while shooting 47.9 percent from the floor.

Jazz's Collin Sexton: Goes for 24 points in loss
Sexton amassed 24 points (7-16 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT), four rebounds and three assists in 31 minutes during Tuesday's 124-121 loss to the Hawks.
Sexton did everything in his power to avoid the loss Tuesday, but Trae Young had another plan and gave the Hawks the win with one of the longest game-winning shots in NBA history. Sexton remains a productive player for Utah, though. This was the fifth time he reached the 20-point mark in his last six outings, a span in which he's averaging 21.3 points, 4.8 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game.
