Magic's Tristan da Silva: Team-high 20 points Wednesday
Da Silva logged 20 points (8-10 FG, 4-5 3PT, 0-3 FT), three rebounds and one assist over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 129-99 loss to Toronto.
The Magic struggled on both ends of the floor Wednesday, but da Silva managed to lead his team in scoring on only 10 field-goal attempts. He's connected on at least four three-pointers in three of the first four games of the regular season and has gone 14-for-31 (45.2 percent) from beyond the arc in that span. Da Silva's production floor will continue to be elevated for as long as Paolo Banchero (ankle) is on the shelf.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Provides spark off bench
Da Silva closed Sunday's 111-102 victory over the Knicks with 19 points (7-13 FG, 5-9 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one block over 27 minutes.
Anthony Black made his season debut Sunday, but Paolo Banchero is facing an extended absence with a high-ankle sprain and Jalen Suggs left Sunday's game early with a knee injury. Da Silva should remain worth streaming in most fantasy leagues as Orlando's sixth man for the foreseeable future.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Disappoints in loss Friday
da Silva notched five points (2-9 FG, 1-7 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 29 minutes during Friday's 115-93 loss to the Timberwolves.
It wasn't a great outing for da Silva, unable to replicate what he did during the season opener. His playing time remains solid, logging 29 minutes off the bench in this one. However, as a player whose overall value is built on points and threes, the off-nights tend to hurt a little more. At this point, da Silva should be viewed as more of a stream-level player, as opposed to someone who needs to be rostered.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Team option picked up
The Magic have exercised da Silva's fourth-year rookie-scale team option, keeping him under contract through the 2027-28 season, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
The decision gives Orlando another year of control over the 2024 first-round pick, who has established himself as a versatile forward capable of spacing the floor. Da Silva will continue competing for minutes in a crowded Magic frontcourt, with his fantasy upside largely dependent on securing a consistent rotation role and increasing his offensive involvement.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Scores 18 points off bench
Da Silva recorded 18 points (7-14 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 0-0 FT), three rebounds, five assists and a steal across 20 minutes in Tuesday's 132-116 preseason win over the Cavaliers.
Da Silva provided an offensive spark off Orlando's bench, finishing third on the team in scoring while knocking down four three-pointers. The forward was particularly aggressive from beyond the arc, attempting 11 shots from deep and accounting for more than a third of the Magic's three-point attempts among reserves. His perimeter shooting could help him compete for consistent minutes in Orlando's regular-season rotation.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Reverting to bench role
Da Silva won't start Tuesday's preseason meeting with Cleveland.
Desmond Bane is back from his rest day, forcing da Silva back to the second unit. The 25-year-old forward is expected to play a meaningful role off the bench behind Paolo Banchero this season.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Leads Magic in scoring Sunday
da Silva ended with 17 points (6-14 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals over 24 minutes in Sunday's 119-105 preseason loss to Cleveland.
da Silva had another productive performance Sunday, with the 2024 No. 18 overall pick now scoring a combined 36 points in his first two preseason appearances. He averaged 9.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 24.7 minutes in 77 regular-season games, including 34 starts, in 2025-26. While da Silva may not start as often during the 2026-27 campaign, assuming Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner can stay healthy, he should continue to get his share of minutes off the bench.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Starting sans Bane
Da Silva will start Sunday's preseason game against the Cavaliers, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
With Desmond Bane getting the night off for rest purposes, da Silva will join the first unit. Over 25 minutes in Wednesday's preseason-opening win over the Grizzlies, he provided 19 points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Drops 19 points in preseason win
Da Silva logged 19 points (6-16 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal across 25 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's 122-118 preseason win over the Grizzlies.
Da Silva wasn't very efficient from two-point range but put together a solid performance from beyond the arc en route to a game-high 19 points. The 25-year-old forward also tied for third on the team in rebounds. Da Silva averaged 9.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.9 steals across 24.7 minutes per game in 2025-26, and he figures to serve as Paolo Banchero's primary backup this season.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Keeping busy this offseason
Da Silva ended with nine points (3-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal in 25 minutes during Germany's 96-94 loss to Poland in Tuesday's FIBA World Cup qualifier.
Da Silva has been staying active this offseason ahead of his third NBA season. The Magic more or less maintained the same core from the 2025-26 campaign, positioning da Silva for a bench role at power forward behind Paolo Banchero to begin the year. Da Silva averaged 9.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.9 steals in 24.7 minutes per contest over 77 regular-season games (34 starts) in 2025-26.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Disappointing close to 2025-26
Da Silva chipped in zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) over eight minutes during Sunday's 116-94 loss to the Pistons in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Even with Franz Wagner (calf) and Jonathan Isaac (knee) sidelined, da Silva was phased out of the Orlando rotation at times during this series. It was still a positive 2025-26 campaign overall for the second-year forward, who averaged 9.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.9 steals in 24.7 minutes per tilt over 77 regular-season games (34 starts).

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Series-high 23 minutes
Da Silva posted 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt) and six rebounds over 23 minutes during Friday's 93-79 loss to the Pistons in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
After barely featuring for much of the first-round series, da Silva logged 23 minutes Friday, scoring double-digit points for the first time in the playoffs. Although the second-year forward had a solid outing, Orlando is going to need a lot more from its stars and role players alike if it hopes to put an end to Detroit's season in Game 7 on Sunday. Through six games, da Silva has averaged just 4.8 points and 3.3 rebounds in 16.5 minutes per game.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Barely visible in loss
Da Silva racked up four points (2-2 FG) and two rebounds across 14 minutes during Wednesday's 109-97 Play-In Game loss to the 76ers.
In what was another disappointing performance, da Silva offered very little on either end of the floor. Outside of a brief period in which he put himself firmly on the standard league radar, things haven't gone as planned in recent times. In seven appearances over the past two weeks, da Silva has been well outside the top-300 players in fantasy, averaging just 8.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in 22.5 minutes per game.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Moving back to bench role
Da Silva is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves.
Da Silva will return to his regular bench role due to the return of Franz Wagner (ankle) to the first unit. In 40 appearances off the bench this season, da Silva is averaging 8.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists across 21.4 minutes per game.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Starting sans Wagner
Da Silva will start Monday's game against the Pistons.
With Franz Wagner (ankle) unavailable for the second half of this back-to-back, da Silva will enter the starting five. As a starter this season (33 games), the second-year forward has averaged 12.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 28.7 minutes per contest.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Makes big impact off bench Friday
Da Silva supplied 19 points (6-11 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 29 minutes during Friday's 138-127 win over the Mavericks.
Paolo Banchero had a subpar showing after finishing with 10 points across 31 minutes Friday, but da Silva stepped up in a big way and finished tied for the third-most points on the Magic with Jalen Suggs -- only Wendell Carter (28 points) and Desmond Bane (27 points) outpaced them. The return of Franz Wagner means da Silva will head to the bench for the rest of the season, and while he can deliver solid fantasy production as long as he stays on the court, the reduced role will clearly have a toll on his fantasy value.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Moved out of starting lineup
Da Silva is not in the Magic's starting lineup against the Hawks on Wednesday, Cody Taylor of USA Today reports.
Da Silva has started 19 of the Magic's last 21 games (including 13 straight), and over that span, he has averaged 13.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.0 threes and 1.0 steals over 30.6 minutes. The second-year pro will retreat to the bench due to the return of Franz Wagner (ankle), but da Silva should continue to operate in a prominent role, especially if the former plays under a minutes restriction.
