Jets' Chris Gragg: May have broken ankle
Gragg, who had exited Thursday's preseason finale against the Eagles with what was labeled as a knee injury, is believed to have suffered a broken ankle, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
This is an unfortunate development for Gragg, who's likely looking at an extended absence. He looks to be a strong candidate to be cut over the weekend, though he could revert to the Jets' injured reserve list if he clears waivers.

Jets' Chris Gragg: Doubtful to return
Gragg left Thursday's preseason matchup against the Eagles with knee and ankle injuries, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports.
Gragg was a late addition in training camp to add competition for the spot that will be empty while Austin Seferian-Jenkins serves his two-game suspension. Gragg hauled in 12 passes for 150 yards and zero touchdowns for the Bills in 2015 before suffering a season-ending ACL tear in 2016, so hopefully this injury is unrelated.

Jets' Chris Gragg: Signed by Jets
Gragg signed with the Jets on Friday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
The Jets released wide receiver KD Cannon and signed Gragg in a corresponding roster move. The 27-year old spent his first three seasons with the Bills. He tallied 150 yards on 12 receptions last season. He will compete for a role on the final roster as a depth tight end.
