Justin Gilbert: Suspended for year
Gilbert was suspended for the entire 2017 season on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The 2014 first-rounder was originally suspended for the first four games of the season, but he'll now be sidelined for the entire year. That doesn't bode well for Gilbert's chances of finding a new NFL home, as the cornerback was released by the Steelers this offseason. In all likelihood, if Gilbert does get another opportunity on an NFL roster, it probably won't come until next season.

Justin Gilbert: Given four-game suspension
Gilbert has been suspended for the first four games of the 2017 season, Courtney Fallon of NFL Network reports.
Things continue to spiral for the former first-rounder, who was released by the Steelers early in the offseason. Now that he has an impending four-game suspension, Gilbert may have a harder time finding a team this summer than was already expected.
