Hillary was waived by the Bengals on Thursday.
The Ohio native spent his first two seasons in Cleveland before heading west to Oakland. Unable to find a permanent home, Hillary also made pit stops in Washington and Cincinnati along the way. The former Wisconsin product has struggled to carve out a role in the NFL, but his wits and youth could help him prolong his career for the time being.

Darius Hillary: Cut loose by Redskins
Hillary was waived by the Redskins on Saturday.
Hillary joined the team during the preseason with hopes of holding on to a 53-man roster spot, but he didn't impress the coaching staff enough to hang around until cuts. He will now be free to sign elsewhere with about a week remaining before rosters need to be trimmed to 53.

Darius Hillary: Waived by Oakland
Hillary was waived by the Raiders on Monday.
Hillary was signed to the Raiders' practice squad toward the end of last season after being waived by the Browns, but he has now been let go once again in order to make room for the signing of Derrick Johnson. Should Hillary clear waivers, he'll look to get involved in another team's offseason program.

Darius Hillary: Waived by Browns
Hillary (knee) was waived by the Browns on Saturday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Hillary was called up by the Browns during their Week 9 bye. He failed to actually suit up for any contest until last week's loss against the Packers, and was apparently dealing with a knee injury this week. The 24-year-old will presumably clear waivers and either revert to the practice squad or look for a new destination.
