Colts' Tyler Varga: Retires from NFL
Varga opted to retire from the NFL on Tuesday, John Kryk of the Toronto Sun reports.
Varga suffered a concussion roughly nine months ago, but earlier this month was cleared to return to football activities. Despite previous reports indicating he intended to play during the 2016 season, Varga has now changed his mind and will hang up the cleats, as he doesn't want to risk his future health any further. Varga spent just one year in the league, seeing action in three games, while providing two rushing yards and 18 reception yards.

Colts' Tyler Varga: Cleared to play
Varga (concussion) has been cleared for football activities and intends to play in 2016, the San Jose Mercury News reports.
It has been roughly nine months since Varga suffered the concussion, but the running back will indeed make a second attempt to crack the Colts' 53-man roster. "It comes down to this: I'm back here because I want to compete again," Varga declared. Unfortunately for Varga, though, he won't be competing against an injured Dan Herron and Vick Ballard this time around. Instead, he'll be squaring off with Robert Turbin, Jordan Todman, Trey Williams and rookie Josh Ferguson for a role behind the incumbent starter, Frank Gore.
