North was waived by the Rams on Tuesday, Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.com reports.
North was one of four Rams released Tuesday, as the current roster now holds 86 players. The wideout spent all of last season on injured reserve due to an undisclosed injury and will now have to look to continue his career elsewhere.

Rams' Marquez North: Stashed on Rams' injured reserve
North (undisclosed) was placed on the Rams' injured reserve list Tuesday.
North's placement on IR may explain why he didn't see a single snap in any of the Rams' first three preseason contests as he may be suffering from a nagging or recurring soft-tissue injury. Whatever the injury may be, North will now have ample time to return to full health in advance of the 2017 campaign.
