Seahawks' Lorenzo Jerome: Signed by Seattle
Jerome signed a contract with the Seahawks on Monday, John Boyle of Seahawks.com reports.
Jerome recorded three tackles in four games with the 49ers last season before being released in early October. He'll add depth at safety for the Seahawks throughout training camp, but he could be a longshot to make the 53-man roster.

Lorenzo Jerome: Waived by 49ers
Jerome was waived by the 49ers on Monday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Jerome was active four of the 49ers' five games and recorded three tackles in limited snaps on defense and special teams. The 27-year-old could potentially return to the team's practice squad if he clears waivers.

49ers' Lorenzo Jerome: Moves up depth chart
Jerome started alongside Eric Reid in Friday's preseason win over the Chiefs, and could do so again Saturday against the Broncos, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
The undrafted rookie rocketed up the depth chart after Jimmie Ward (hamstring) and Jaquiski Tartt (ribs) sustained injuries during training camp. Jerome tallied three tackles in the preseason opener and followed that up by picking off a pass in Monday's practice. If Ward remains sidelined, a possible competition at free safety could develop between Jerome and Adrian Colbert.
