The veteran guard started the Super Bowl for Kansas City with Joe Thuney out and suffered a UCL tear in that contest. However, Allegretti then signed a three-year, $16 million deal with Washington in March after playing in 74 games (13 starts) in five seasons with the Chiefs.

Allegretti (elbow) agreed to terms on a deal with Washington on Monday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.
Allegretti is getting a change of scenery, as he spent his first five seasons in Kansas City. The 27-year-old suffered a UCL tear in his elbow during the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory over the 49ers. There has been no word if that will impact his availability for training camp.
