Armstrong (hamstring) signed with the Raiders' practice squad Tuesday, per his agent Brett Tessler.
The 28-year-old was cut from the Falcons' injured reserve early in September after agreeing to an injury settlement, and it now seems as if he's moved past his hamstring issue. Armstrong re-signed with the Falcons on a one-year deal Monday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports.
Armstrong was signed to Atlanta's practice squad in October before getting promoted to the active roster later that month. In 10 games (four starts), the 27-year-old registered a career-high 33 tackles (22 solo). Armstrong will hope to once again provide solid depth behind starters A.J. Terrell and Casey Hayward next season.

Falcons' Cornell Armstrong: Signs new deal with Atlanta
The Falcons signed Armstrong from their practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game versus Carolina, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Armstrong made his 2022 debut in Week 7 at Cincinnati, and Atlanta saw fit to promote him to the 53-man roster for good ahead of Week 8. The 27-year-old corner played in 86 percent of the Falcons' defensive snaps in Week 7, and with 2020 first-rounder A.J. Terrell (hamstring) out, Armstrong could be in line for another busy game Sunday.

Cornell Armstrong: Headed back to Atlanta
The Falcons signed Armstrong (undisclosed) to the practice squad Monday, Josh Kendall of The Athletic reports.
Armstrong was previously placed on Atlanta's IR due to an undisclosed injury in mid-August before being let go with an injury settlement. The fifth-year cornerback did not play in 2021 after he was similarly waived with an injury settlement from Houston's IR last September, and he has played only 136 defensive snaps during his career.

Armstrong signed with the Falcons' practice squad on Dec. 7 and ended up on the COVID list one week later. Now that he is healthy, he'll try to earn a spot on the active roster before the season comes to a close, or at least prove he deserves a shot with the Falcons in 2022.
